Romantic Guide to St. Kitts and Nevis

St. Kitts and Nevis Nightlife: Bars, Nightclubs and Shows

When the sun goes down, St. Kitts and Nevis comes alive with a vibrant local music scene in the many resorts, restaurants and bars. On Friars Bay beach, Ship Wreck is famous for the full moon parties while in Frigate Bay, The Monkey Bar is the quintessential beach hangout with a lively happy hour. Recommended drinks include locally-brewed Carib beer or refreshing CSR rum and Ting combo that is the preferred choice of Kittitians.

Lager and lobster reign supreme at the Shiggedy Shack where bonfires on the sand keep this tumble-down bar lively till the wee hours. For a real Kittitian treat, ask the bartender for a Brinley Gold Vanilla Rum on the rocks.

On the road between Basseterre and the Southeast Peninsula, Bobbys's is for dancing the night away to live bands on weekend nights. For calypso fans, this funky bar is where the performers come to warm up before Carnival competitions.

For late night partyers, the Bob & Elvis Party Bus is the real deal for a six-hour booze tour of the island. Dancing in the aisles is encouraged although driving back to the resort is not. For those wooing Lady Luck, the Royal Beach Casino stays open until 4 am with hundreds of slots and gaming tables.
