Romantic Guide to St. Lucia

St. Lucia Activities and Attractions

Scuba Diving

St. Lucia is an exciting diving location. Located at the tip of an underground volcano brings amazing sea life. Sunken ships also produce artificial reefs, which attract even more marine life. Some of the best locations for diving are: Anse Chastanet, Lesleen M Shipwreck, Anse La Raye, and The Key Hole Pinnacles. Anse Chastanet is a snorkelers' paradise! These reefs have an abundance of tropical fish, because the waters are part of a protected marine reserve with very restricted fishing.

Whale and Turtle Watching

There are twenty different species of whales that migrate nearby St. Lucia. This makes for great opportunities to experience the amazing sounds of these magnificent animals. Keep a close eye on the sea in hopes for seeing them swim or jump by the boat.

Deep Sea Fishing

Resting between the crystal clear Caribbean Sea and the deep Atlantic Ocean, St. Lucia is home to some of the best deep sea fishing in the world. Often referred to as 'an angler's dream come true', couples can charter a boat or take a fishing excursion to have a chance at catching some great big fish.

St. Lucia is known for its vast rainforest. To view this incredible scenery, there are 29 miles of trails to explore. Check out these hiking trails: Union Nature Trail and Mini-Zoo for easy trails and Enbas Saut Waterfalls Trail or Edmund Forest Reserve for more difficult hikes.

Historical Sites

St. Lucia has rich history. For couples that love pirate hangouts, old forts, plantations and other heritage sites, there are plenty to visit. Fond Doux Estate, Fort Charlotte and Pigeon Island are a few of the interesting places to learn a little of times past.
